A nano-scale hydrophobic coating that repels water and mud on contact, Hydrocote water repellent coating ensures water rolls off the booties so it can’t soak in. WIXIT Cool-Clad™ wicking air mesh linings inside feature micro-dot perforations to wick away moisture and allow air to flow more, keeping the foot cooler in warmer temperatures. Genuine hand-laid rubber overlays over most of the bootie stay flexible for years, avoiding the cold cracking you can get with PVC or urethane construction. Reinforced overlays over the achilles and instep areas boost protection even further. Under the feet, lightweight nylon shanks boost stability over uneven terrain and helps arch support to resist foot fatigue over long treks. Removable molded EVA sock liners cushion every step for added comfort. High traction, molded DS1 outsoles feature an outer and inner grip for versatile traction over rugged terrain.
